Installing KDE Neon on MacBook

I have been trying to install KDE Neon on my 2015 15" Retina MacBook Pro for last month and finally figured out a way to make it work.

A simple install fails after copying all files while installing grub-efi.

During the install, select install updates and third party tools and let it do its work. Totally it took close to 45 minutes to install with the updates and couple of times it felt like the installer hung.

I currently have a working KDE Neon User Edition on my MacBook Pro with Encrypted LVM for storage.

I will post back later with my updates and findings on the stability and reliability of the system.

I have been wondering which desktop environment I like more and have been participating on both KDE and GNOME communities. I have to say that the gnome has a better help tools for new community members. However I find myself leaning more than wards making KDE my primary desktop and assisting with KDE over gnome.
